Northeastern teams on roll, Delhi all but out

Manipur's Bijang Loubuk Junior crushed Shri Ram School (Delhi-NCR) 8-1 while Nakachar Hr Sec School (Assam) defeated Maharana Pratap Sports College, Uttarakhand 6-0 in the Sub-Junior 56th Subroto Cup Football Tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here today.
Similarly, the team from NSS MP Shikshya Niketan (Odisha) beat Govt High School (Haryana) 6-0 to earn full points.
For the Manipur school, their hero was Mangmin Thang, who netted five goals.
As for the Odisha team, Haryana were no match to their opponents D Sanjay scored the maximum (3 goals) for the winners while Haryana were mute spectators.
