NSCN cadre killed in clash in Nagaland

A Naga underground cadre was allegedly killed in a clash between rival groups of NSCN in capital town here today.
Police said that suspected rival cadres of NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) and NSCN (Khaplang) exchanged fire at Naga Hospital junction at around 12:20 PM killing a cadre of NSCN-K on the spot.
SP Kohima Rothihu Tetseo said that the victim identified a Lithrongse Sangtam sustained several rounds of bullet injuries on his body.
Police rushed the victim to the hospital but was declared brought dead.
A case in this connection has been registered under Kohima North Police Station.
