The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will conduct a mock trading session in various segments on April 27, 2019.
The segments include capital market, futures and options, commodity derivatives, currency derivatives and securities lending, and borrowing market.
The mock trading session will be conducted from primary and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) site, the exchange said in separate circulars.
The mock will be followed by a re-log in session from primary site in order to avoid login problems on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
For derivatives segments, the normal market session at primary site will begin at 1000 hrs and continue till 1100 hrs. At the BCP site, the normal market session for these segments begins at 1415 hrs and ends at 1530 hrs.
For other segments, the normal market session at the primary site starts at 1015 hrs and ends at 1100 hrs. From BCP site it will commence at 1430 hrs and close at 1530 hrs, the exchange said.
The re-login time from primary site for all the segments is 1500 hrs to 1530 hrs.
Mock trading sessions are generally conducted by stock exchanges to test their system performance as part of their efforts to provide a robust platform to members in order to enable flawless trading.
