Nursing students block Ambala-Delhi highway

About 40 students of a private nursing college here demonstrated in front of the residence of state Health Minister Anil Vij today to protest against the withholding of exam result.
The students, in November 14, 2014, had appeared for the first semester of their nursing midwife course.
They claimed that their result has not yet been declared by the Directorate of State Medical Education and Research.
They met Vij who assured them that he would look into it matter. However, they were not satisfied with the minister's assurance and blocked traffic at Ambala-Delhi highway.
Students were then persuaded by Deputy CMO Neelam Dogra and other district officials to lift the blockade. They submitted a memorandum in this regard to her and then dispersed.
