Perched at eye level with the downtown Buenos Aires skyline, Mora Godoy took a whirl on a platform hanging mid-air beside the Argentine capital's famed Obelisk monument, setting a new record for tango dancing at height.
Attached by harnesses, Godoy and a partner spun around the small square platform to the beats of a contemporary electronic tango number Monday night as Guinness Book of World Records representatives looked on.
Godoy, who called Obama a "very good dancer," undertook her latest stunt for the season premiere of the television variety program Showmatch.
No record for tango dancing at height previously existed.
The organization had set a minimum height of 50 meters to establish it as a category, Guinness representative Sarah Casson said.
