Officials asked not to visit CM's residence unless called

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has asked bureaucrats not to visit his residence unless asked to and work on war footing for the states prosperity, instead.
An official release quoting Das's commitment and resolutions for 2015 on Jharkhand's development, said that unless there is urgent work or called by the Chief Minister, no official or employee should visit his residence.
He said government officials should work on a war footing, adding that cooperation from all is required.
Appealing to the people to report to the Vigilance Bureau or the Chief Minister's Secretariat if any person approached them to get things done like transfer/posting or bagging contracts flaunting influence in the corridors of power, Das said it was necessary to change the work culture.

To curb corruption, active participation of people was also necessary and the government would take their complaints about corruption seriously, he said.
Das said the government would work 24x7 in bringing speedy development, providing basic amenities and improving policing.
"Change will be brought about at the level of police stations, so that people will consider the police as friend and without hesitation can go to them with their grievances," the release said.
