OJS (Prelim) exams to be held afresh on Sept 6

After losing out the legal war to aspirants, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has now decided to hold the Odisha Judicial Service (OJS), 2015 (Prelim) examination afresh.
The examination would be held on September 6, an OPSC notification issued today, said.
Setting aside the May 31 examination on the grounds of faulty question papers, the Orissa High Court on July 28 had directed the OPSC to hold the examinations afresh.
But, the OPSC challenged the order of the single judge bench in a writ appeal and a division bench headed by Chief Justice D H Waghela on Thursday upheld the earlier order.

The OPSC had decided to hold the examination for recruitment of 69 posts of civil judges in the state.
Earlier around 2,000 aspirants had appeared for the examination in which as many as 26 out of 100 questions were either wrong, out of syllabus or contained typographical and grammatical errors.
