A 64-year-old man was killed and four persons, inclding three of his family members, were injured Monday when their car collided with another vehicle on the Mumbai-Goa national highway near Udhale Khed in Ratnagiri district, police said.
The car was headed to Ambarnath in Thane district from Chiplun in Ratnagiri.
The deceased is identified as Ghanashyam Juvekar, a resident of Ambarnath, and the injured persons as Avani (28), Anuradha (40), and Vishvesh, a police official said, adding that one Samadhan Pawar who was travelling in another car, also sustained injuries.
