allegedly broke a police cordon, was arrested today while his two accomplices managed to escape.
During a routine checking near Dosarka on Nahan-Shimla road three persons who were on a motorcycle were signalled to stop but they made an attempt to escape, police said.
On being chased, the trio abandoned the motorcycle and the bag they were carrying and disappeared into Joganwali forests, they said.
Two country made pistols and four live cartridges were found from the bag, according to police.
Balwan Singh, aged about 30, a resident of Kurukshetra in Haryana was nabbed while two others were still at large, they said.
