Based on a specific information, a team raided an apartment at Banjara Hills and seized 14 grams hashish from Mohd Faraz, a bank employee, in his 30s, excise officials said.
"During his questioning, the accused revealed that he purchased the contraband from Himachal Pradesh for selling it to prospective customers.
"He has been arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act," they said.
'Hashish' is consumed by smoking it with tobacco or alone in a pipe or using a rolling paper.
