One more arrested, search on for two other suspects

The CID today made the fourth arrest in the October 2 Burdwan grenade blast case, while hunt is on for two other suspects.
Sheikh Hakim alias Hasan Saheb from Lalgola in Murshidabad district, who was injured in the blast, was arrested today, police said. He was under treatment in the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital.
The CID was also searching for Kausar and Abdul Kalam Sheikh in connection with the blast in which terrorist outfits are suspectedly involved.
Kausar is suspected to be a regular at the house in Khagragarh were the blast took place while investigators are behind Abul Kalam, a resident of Mangalkote area of the district, after they found seven calls made to him from a mobile phone immediately after the blast.

The mobile phone from which the calls were made were seized by the police from the house after the explosion.
"From the video clips that were recovered from the mobile, several footages of attack on World Trade Center, lectures on Jihad and other training modules were recovered," a senior CID officer said.

Two suspected terrorists were killed in the explosion at a rented house at Khagragarh. Three persons, including two women, had been arrested so far in this connection.
Those arrested include Hafez Mollah alias Hasan who was picked up by the CID from his house at Khar Duttapa in Purbostholi, yesterday.

Two women - Rajira Bibi alias Rumi, widow of the suspected terrorist Shakil Ahmed who died in the blast, and Amina Bibi, Hasan Saheb's wife, were arrested on Sunday in connection with the blast at Khagragarh.
On the basis of information gathered from Hafez Mollah, police released a sketch of the prime suspect who is based in Bangladesh.
Mollah was today brought to CID headquarters in Bhawani Bhawan and interrogated by senior police officials.
"We are (trying) to find out the link of these terrorists and who else are involved in it. We are trying to find where the explosives recovered from the site were supposed to be sent, ...From where did they get the training," said a senior police official.

A special team of sleuths from central intelligence agencies today visited the blast site in Burdwan.
Meanwhile a detailed report is being sent to the Centre by West Bengal government in connection with the October 2 Burdwan blast, state Director General of Police G J M Rajasekhar Reddy said today.
After a high level meeting at the state secretariat, where Chief Secretary Sanjay Mitra, Home Secretary Basudeb Banerjee, the DGP and the ADG-CID Ramphal Pawar were present, DGP Reddy told reporters, "A detailed report is being sent to the Union Home Ministry."
"All aspects were being looked into including whether there was any link with any terrorist organisation," Reddy said.
