The two unidentified persons mingled with the boy and his grandmother Murmu and even started playing with the one-year-old boy, the sources said.
After spending sometime, the accused, who came on a two-wheeler, managed to escape the scene with the boy even before Murmu could smell their ill-intention, sources said.
Murmu, a resident of Salboni in Gamariah in adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district had gone to the hospital with her her daughter, Sombari Murmu, whose elder son was undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Confirming the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Alok Kumar said police have been investigating into the matter.
We are trying to identify the accused, who were captured in the CCTV camera while committing the crime, he said.
Police has lodged a case in this regard.
