Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Q1 net loss at Rs 48 cr

Drug firm Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 47.56 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 60.14 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals said in a filing to BSE.

Standalone total operating income of the company stood at Rs 256.33 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 285.09 crore for the year ago period.

Shares of Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals were today trading at Rs 62.45 apiece, down 2.95 per cent, on BSE.
