Australia 'A' coach Troy Cooley feels that organised planning and positive attitude were key to his team's success in the ongoing tour of India.
Australia 'A' inflicted a humiliating 10-wicket defeat to India 'A' in the second unofficial Test to pocket the two-match series 1-0.
In the ongoing tri-series, involving South Africa 'A' as the third team, the Aussies continued their good run and secured their place in the final.
Asked about the reason behind his team's success in the sub-continent, Cooley said: "I think it is basically the attitude of the players. From the first day we arrived here our preparation has been excellent.
"A lot of the guys were organised and planned. They adjusted early to the playing conditions in India, which is tough. They had open mind, wanted to improve and play well in these conditions," he said.
"It is no secret that we don't win matches often here. We do have batsmen and bowlers who have adapted very well to the tough conditions here. Players of quality have to be on their toes and have to be open to challenges. Our batsmen have found different ways to score runs with sweep shots and hitting down the ground."
Cooley was impressed with the performances of a handful of players here and feels they are ready to play for the senior national team.
"As for the two Tests, you cannot go past (Usman) Khawaja, (Cameron) Bancroft, (Marcus) Stoinis, (Gurinder) Sandhu, (Peter) Handscomb, Andrew Fekete. There has been wonderful team performances and we ended up winning a four-day game here, which is fantastic," the coach said.
"This tour has seen excellent performances from our players from day one. Some of them have put up their hands up. Look at the performances of Joe Burns, Usman Khawaja, Adam Zampa, Ashton Agar. They are ready to take their quality performances from here and to England. They are universal players ready to play anywhere in the world."
The coach had special praise for skipper Khawaja, who have come here after a six-month long injury layoff.
"He (Khawaja) has specialised in these conditions. His patience and relaxed attitude suits him. He has wonderful work ethics and he is going to take over the captaincy of Queensland team. Such attitudes and positive performances help the coach's job. We have had wonderful understating and great partnership," Cooley said.
