Over 20 lakh quintal sugarcane crushed in Haryana

During the current crushing season, the cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 1.97 lakh quintal sugar by crushing 27.92 lakh quintal sugarcane.
Giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that Cooperative Sugar Mill Shahabad has so far crushed the maximum amount of sugarcane at 6 lakh quintal and produced 53,400 quintal sugar, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat which has crushed 3.71 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 33,700 quintal sugar.
Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has crushed 3.10 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced 21,750 quintal of sugar.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill Rohtak has crushed 2.93 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 16,350 quintal of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill Gohana has crushed 2.90 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 17,566 quintal of sugar.

The Cooperative Sugar Mill Karnal has crushed 2.58 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 20,420 quintal of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill Meham has crushed 2.70 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 12,150 quintal of sugar.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill Jind has crushed 2.06 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 15,100 quintal of sugar, Cooperative Sugar Mill Kaithal has crushed 99,000 quintal sugarcane and has produced 3,270 quintal of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill Palwal has crushed 95,000 quintal sugarcane and has produced 4,135 quintal of sugar.
Besides, HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh has crushed over 1.86 lakh quintal of sugarcane and has produced 10,200 quintal of sugar, he added.
