Painting competition held for Kotbhalwal jail inmates

A painting competition was organised today for the inmates of the central jail Jammu, Kotbhalwal.
"Central Jail Jammu Kotbhalwal, in collaboration with Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu today organised a Painting Competition 'Creative Outlet' for Jail Inmates", an official spokesman said.
The event was held under the guidance of S K Mishra, Director General Police (DGP), Prisons, while Dinesh Sharma, Senior Superintendent Jail supervised the arrangements.
16 prisoners participated in the painting competition, the spokesman said.
The convict P Parshotam of Tamil Nadu stood First, while Harmeet Singh and Zakir Hussain Bhatt bagged second and third positions respectively.

Senior Superintendent Jail thanked DGP Prisons and the music institute for organizing the Painting Competition in Central Jail Jammu, the spokesman said.
