"Intelligence reports indicate that from time to time Pakistan undertakes offensive actions planting mines on Indian side to cause causalities to Indian troops. In the recent past, it has come to notice that Pakistani elements planted mines on November 24-26, 2012 in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district in Jammu," Defence Minister A K Antony said.
The Minister was answering a written query on whether Pakistan Army plants mines in Indian territory to prevent Indian troops from patrolling these areas.
Antony said all incidents of ceasefire violations are raised with Pakistan through established mechanism of hotlines, flag meetings and Director Generals of Military Operations.
