Pak sends two planeloads of relief material to Nepal

Pakistan today sent two military planes carrying relief goods like tents and medicines to quake-hit Nepal.
Army said that two C-130 military planes reached Kathmandu with a consignment of fresh relief goods for quake victims, comprising 600 tents, 33 boxes of medicines and other items.
Seven Nepalese doctors studying in Pakistan also left for Nepal to take part in relief operations, it said.
Pakistan has established a 30-bed field hospital in Bhaktapur area of Nepal. Pakistan Army search teams are involved in rescue operations in the country that has been severely hit by a 7.9-magnitude temblor, leaving more than 6,600 people dead and thousands homeless.

Meanwhile, Foreign Office rejected media reports that ready-to-eat food packets sent by Pakistan to Nepal had beef products.
Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said there was no beef content in the food sent by Pakistan and the authorities in Nepal were satisfied with the food.
