Panther strays into residential area in Jaipur, causes panic

A panther strayed into a residential area in Rajasthan's Jaipur district on Thursday, triggering panic among the locals, police said.

The movement of the big cat was captured on a CCTV camera installed in a house at Takhteshahi Road near JLN Marg, they said.

The panther wandered into four-five houses and a hotel. Drone cameras have been pressed into service to trace the animal, the police said.
