Paramount and Hasbro is planning to develop a yet another "G.I. Joe" spinoff film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is in the early stages of planning. It is being described as an "ensemble piece" and might feature the character of Chuckles, who is quite popular for his undercover and infiltration work.
Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, the scribes of films such as "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", are penning the script.
Paramount is also working on another "G.I. Joe" project which is based on the character of Snake Eyes.
Snake Eyes was previously portrayed by actor Ray Park in two films -- "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and "G.I. Joe: Retaliation".
The released date for this film was recently moved from March 27, 2020, to October 16, 2020.
