The service will be operated between Dehradun and Phata and between Phata and Gauchar routes, for which the online bookings have already commenced, Pawan Hans Limited (PHL) said in a statement here.
"PHL is all set to introduce daily passenger service by helicopters, for the first time in the history of Kedarnath Ji Yatra, from Dehradun to Phata, Phata to Gaucher and back at a nominal fare," PHL said.
PHL will deploy two of its 46 helicopters on the Phata-Kedarnath-Phata sector to operate the service which will remain in force till June 24, the statement said.
