NCP chief Sharad Pawar is likely to launch the party's campaign for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls with a public meeting in Beed on October 1, a senior leader said Saturday.
Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Dhananjay Munde, claimed that the October 1 rally would be the party's pledge for victory.
The NCP will pledge to win not just the Beed Lok Sabha seat but also all six Assembly constituencies there in the state polls later next year.
He said the party's campaign was being launched in Beed as the district was a bastion of progressive ideals propagated by Pawar.
