Alia would endorse Philips range of beauty business including hair appliances and a variety of depilation devices, the company said in a statement today.
She will help the company take the style revolution among the new age Indian women to the next level, it added.
Commenting on the development, Philips India Consumer Lifestyle President ADA Ratnam said: "We believe in fulfilling aspirations of the evolving new age woman, who is confident, smart, wants to make a statement and loves to style herself daily."
Alia will start endorsing Philips Kerashine range of hair appliances. The company would run a 360 degree marketing campaign with her to introduce the hairstyling gadget. A TVC with is scheduled to go on air in mid- August, Philps added.
Last month, Philips India had signed Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor as brand ambassador for its male grooming business.
