Photo of suspect who stole bike used in RSS leader's murder

Sixteen days after the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosain in Ludhiana, the Punjab police today released a picture of a suspect who allegedly stole a bike that was used by the assailants.
The picture of the suspect, a "vital clue" was obtained from the visuals shot by a CCTV camera, police officials said.
A reward of Rs five lakh has been announced on the identification of the suspect, officials said adding that the identity of informer will be kept secret.
"We have got the photo of a suspect who stole the motor cycle and we are trying to trace him," said Ludhiana Police Commissioner R N Dhoke.
He described the photograph as a "vital clue".
According to police officials, the picture of the suspect was procured from CCTV camera installed at Dholewal Chowk in Ludhiana.
In the picture, the suspect can be seen wearing a blue shirt and brown pants. A sketch of the suspect was also released.
Two weeks have passed since the killing but Punjab Police has been able to make little headway.
RSS leader Gosain was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-borne youths at Kailash Nagar on October 17.
The yellow and black bike used in the crime was allegedly stolen from Miller Ganj in Ludhiana on October 10. It was found abandoned near the Jalandhar-Ludhiana highway at Manj Phaguwal village, a day after the crime.
Two cops were also suspended for not acting on the complaint of bike theft lodged by its owner, officials said.
