Pink Floyd studio space to be turned into apartments

The studio Pink Floyd built in the 1970s is to be converted into luxury rental space.
The rock group recorded the albums "Animals and The Division Bell" at their Britannia Row base in Islington, London, as well as parts of 1979's "The Wall," after converting a Victorian warehouse and church hall into studio space.
All four band members initially shared a stake in Britannia Row, but drummer Nick Mason assumed full ownership in the late 1980s and converted the facility into offices before selling the property in the early 1990s.
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, Jon Lord, Jack Bruce, and The Cult also recorded there.
