PLA claims responsibility for attack on Assam Rifles personnel
In a statement here, the RPF said the bomb which was planted near Khordak area was set off by its PLA cadre.
Two personnel of 33rd Assam Rifles battalion, one junior commissioned officer and a naik subedar, were injured when insurgents exploded the bomb at Khordak area in Imphal West district yesterday by using a remote-controlled device.
The insurgents had yesterday called a 18-hour 'general strike' to protest Manipur's merger with India.
