* State-run lender Dena Bank today said it has tied up with bankbazaar.Com, an online financial product aggregator, for capturing its retail loan business through latter's platform.
The tie-up with bankbazaar.Com for retail loans - housing, car, used car loans and savings account will strengthen the lender's online presence, the bank said in a statement.

The contest which is open till October 9, targets mothers in the cities of Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi, who will have to upload their photographs along with their kids, on its website, the company said in a statement.

It added, the winner will be then chosen out of the ten most popular mums, based on audience votes and nomination by a celebrity jury.
******************* Amazon India opens fulfilment centre in Pune * To beef up its logistics operations ahead of the festive season, global online retailer Amazon today said it has set up a new warehouse in Pune.
This will enable the company to make fast deliveries as it faces tough competition from online shopping giants like Flipkart and Snapdeal as well as other smaller players.

Amazon now has 21 fulfilment centres (warehouses) operational across 10 states in India with a total storage capacity of over five million cubic feet.

USAID and English Helper to improve reading levels of children
* The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and English Helper have partnered to launch a project aimed at improving reading levels of one million school children in India.
Under the 'RightToRead' project, USAID will assist English Helper in deploying the latter's digital reading tool in 5,000 government schools across eight states in the country, a statement said.
The project will be rolled out in these schools by leveraging the existing computer labs setup by IL&FS Education and the American India Foundation, it added.
