"JK Government will develop playfields at block levels in all the blocks and panchayats of the state in next 3-4 years under PYKKA", Minister for Youth Services and Sports R S Chib said while addressing the youth at different areas of R S Pura block today.
He said that every block and panchayat will have a reasonable playfield and sports set up so that the youth of the rural areas can get opportunities to participate in sports.
This scheme will also include the provision of some reasonable grants for purchase of sports gears and also some financial assistance towards prizes, awards to be given to winners, he said.
