In fact, the state has seen marginal rise in minimum day temperature in the last few days.
According to the MeT department, Shimla recorded a maximum of 20.4 degrees Celsius and minimum 11 degrees Celsius yesterday while the maximum temperatures of Dharamsala and Manali were recorded at 18.8 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius respectively.
The positive impact of the favourable weather conditions is visible in hill stations like Dharamsala, Dalhousie, Manali and Shimla where the hotels are getting full occupancy.
"I am here with my wife and I have been enjoying these lovely conditions for the last five days. The cold nights are also very comfortable in the cozy hotels," said Sharad Garg, a businessman from Delhi.
The sunny weather tourism has flourished in Himachal Pradesh over the years because of the delay in snowfall.
The western disturbances have failed to bring cloud to the state in the month of November, which usually is the case, thus delaying the arrival of winter here, an MeT official said.
"I have called my entire family here to give them a break from the biting foggy cold weather in the plains," said a tourist from Amritsar, Shiv Sharma.
