Police detained the PoK resident yesterday when he reached Poonch on the weekly Poonch-Rawalakote bus after he was found carrying some "Jihadi literature", police said.
Identified as Mohammad Aslam Malik (68), a resident of Rawalpindi, had boarded the bus to meet the members of his divided family in Rajouri district, they said.
"During the screening of his luggage, police found two Jihadi magazines that he was carrying. So he was detained for questioning," they said.
Under the rules, a person can travel three times in two years on the cross LoC permit.
The issue of Malik carrying "Jihadi literature" had already been taken up with the authorities in PoK and he was likely to be deported to PoK today from Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point, they said.
