He was arrested during a counter-terrorism raid in the Upper Dir bordering Afghanistan and bajaru tribal agency.
Identified as Abdul Raheem, who is wanted by law enforcement agencies in various terror acts including attack on Major General Sanaullah Niazi, and in attack on security forces check post in Upper Dir which left at least 27 security forces personnel in 2013, said District Police Officer (DPO) Dir Upper Israr Bacha.
Major General Sanaullah Niazi and Lieutenant Colonel Touseef were killed in a bomb attack on September 15, 2013 claimed by the Taliban in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province while they were returning after visiting posts along the Pak-Afghan border.
