Police bust gang of robbers, six arrested

With the arrest of six persons, including a dismissed police constable, the police claimed to have busted a gang of robbers operating in the district, police said today.
The arrest took place yesterday in Khatauli town and two pistols and a stolen car were seized from their possession, SP (City), Sarvan Kumar said.
Acting on a tip off, the police arrested dismissed police constable Askari, and five other accused -- Yogesh, Manoj, Nitin, Anant, and Pawan when they were planning to loot a truck on the Miranpur road.
