Police launches manhunt for man who raped woman for two years

The district police has launched a manhunt for a man from Gokhivare in Vasai division who allegedly raped a 45-year-old woman repeatedly between 2011 and 2013, police sources said here today.
Assistant police inspector Ganesh Mali of the Waliv police station said that the accused who was identified as Raju Patel, laced the cold drink of the woman, raped her and then videographed the act.
Allegedly, the also blackmailed her and repeatedly raped her in her residence and at a lodge in Malad during this period, the police said.
The police has booked the accused under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

However, no arrest has been made so far, police sources said.
