A woman, who went missing in June, was traced and reunited with her husband in Jammu and Kashmir's Sabma district Tuesday, police said.
Sushma Devi had gone missing from Vijaypur market in the district on June 17.
She was rescued by a police team from a mall here, a police spokesman said. The couple, from the Udhampur district, was living as tenants in Vijaypur. The incident was reported to the police by her husband Girdhari Lal on July 19.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report was filed and a search operation initiated, the spokesman said.
"With continuous strenuous effort, a police team from Vijaypur Police Station has traced the missing woman. She was handed to her husband after completion of legal formalities," he said.
