Polling peaceful for UoH students union elections

More than 75 per cent polling was recorded in the University of Hyderabad Students Union Elections for 2019-20 held on Thursday.

Counting will be taken up on Friday with the results expected by late evening, a release from the University of Hyderabad (UoH) said.

The polling was peaceful, it said.

Twenty four candidates were in the fray for six posts, including the President and Vice-President.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad had swept the elections in 2018-19, bagging all six key posts.
