Presently, the Congress and the NCP each have two of these six seats while the BJP and Shiv Sena share the remaining.
Vandana Chavan and DP Tripath of the NCP, Rajani Patil and Rajiv Shukla of the Congress, and BJP's Ajay Kumar Sancheti and Sena's Anil Desai will retired on April 2.
The BJP, with 122 MLAs in the state Assembly, can win three seats with the help of Independents while the Sena with 63 seats, the Congress with 42, and the NCP with 41 seats, can win one seat each.
The last date of withdrawing nominations would be March 15 and elections, if necessary, would be held on March 23, they added.
