Poor fielding cost us dearly against KKR: Moody

Refusing to single out pacer Dale Steyn, who was hammered in the IPL loss to Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody blamed the entire team and said shoddy fielding played a huge part in causing the defeat here.
"You always expect your world-class players to have big tournaments. In a nutshell, some of our stars have not performed. Dale Steyn is not alone. Some of the big players have not stepped up and performed as much as you expect in a tournament like the IPL," Moody said in the post-match press conference.
"You need not only your international stars but your Indian players to deliver consistently. If you manage to get the formula right you find yourself in top four. We missed out playing in top four because we lacked consistency through out the tournament," he added.

The world number one speedster Steyn leaked 26 run in an over and had to bear the brunt of Yusuf Pathan who blasted 72 from 22 balls to power KKR to a four-wicket win that sealed a place in Qualifier I by being second in the table.
Steyn went wicketless conceding 43 from his four overs as he finished with a tally of only 11 wickets from 14 matches and was expensive 7.69 something that hurt SRH's cause.
Blaming their fielding as Yusuf was dropped twice on 0 and 15, he further said, "If we took our catches today they had no right to win this game but they had the positive momentum.
