"In Glamour, my first break in Indian film industry, I play the go-between in the web of lust, passion, greed and murder. My first psycho thriller, a dark film while in Shongram I play a rape victim based in the 1971 Liberation War and how rootless people become and how women fall prey in any conflict. It was a privilege to work with Anupamji in the film which was feted in London festival," she said.
The tall, svelte Bangladeshi model-turned actor, having married a British-Asian director said she was happy that another thriller flick of her was released in a Dhaka plex on the same day.
"We share the same language and same food habit. And the language of cinema is universal. I wish Glamour is seen by my fans on the other side of the border," Ruhee said.
IFFI-winner Chhotoder Chhobi maker Kaushik Ganguly found the ending of Glamour intriguing and unpredictable which doesnot follow the conventional route of Tollywood.
"Being an ardent Feluda fan, I named my two principal characters as Feluda and his assistant Topshe and it is my tribute to Alfred Hitchcock and Satyajit Ray," director Mohua Chakraborty said of the Orion Entertainment production.
