Power supply to be hit in several areas in next 2 days

On account of scheduled maintenance of their transformers, lines and other electrical installations, the power distribution companies today announced power supply would be hit in several parts of the city during the next two-days.
Though the discoms have been asked to back feed the areas from alternative sources to avoid long hours of power cuts at a stretch, in case supply is not available from other sources then power supply may be affected in certain areas on rotational basis, said a Discoms spokesperson.
The spokesperson added detailed information of the planned load shedding can be accessed by public on the websites of the three distribution companies as well as the website of Delhi State Load Despatch Centre www.Delhisldc.Org.
