Prez polls: Ballot box flown to Delhi after purchasing ticket

Two officials accompanied the box containing the votes of AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and DMK president M Karunanidhi besides 15 MPs and scores of MLAs, sources said.

Voting for Presidential polls, contested by UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee and P A Sangma (NDA), was held at the Secretariat here on Thursday.

Counting of votes will be taken up on Sunday.
