Prices of urad dal rise

Prices of urad dal moved up while rest of the commodities remained unaltered in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal opened the week at Rs 8,300, an increase of Rs 100 per quintal from its last rate of Rs 8,000.
Thoor dal, moong dal and gram dal maintained the same level.
Sugar, wheat, maida (90 kg) and Sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,300 Urad Dal Rs 8,300 Moong Dal Rs 9,400 Gram Dal Rs 3,900 Sugar Rs 3,300 Wheat Rs 2,400 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
