Matches will be held at the Shivaji Stadium.
Sixteen teams will be competing in the tournament where the winners prize money will be Rs 5 lakh. Last year the winner got Rs 2.5 lakh, amount the runner-up of this edition will get.
The third runner-up will get richer by Rs 1 lakh while the fourth best team will be awarded Rs 50,000.
For the first time in the history of the tournament, there will be live streaming of all the matches.
The 20th Nehru Girls Hockey Tournament will be held form October 8-14.
The 31st Nehru Sub-Junior Tournament for Boys will be held from October 18-30, with a total of 29 teams participating in the event. Prize money is 2,18,000.
The Steelbird International 42nd Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament will be organised form October 30-November 14 with a prize money of Rs 1,98,000.
Former India player Harendra Singh will be the chief coach of the academy and he will be assisted by two more coaches.
