Prohibitory orders clamped ahead of Radha Astami, Idujjuha

In view of the forthcoming Radha Astami and Idujjuha festivals, prohibitory orders have been clamped here from today, an official said.
"The orders would remain in force till September 15," District Magistrate, Mathura, Arvind Malappa Bangari said.
According to the order, assembly of four or more persons on a public place, carrying of arms or lathi, carrying of effigy of a leader or burning of the effigy, collection of stone pieces at public places or inciting people to collect stone pieces, movement in public places in drunken state, character assassination of a political leader among others have been banned.
Violation of above would invite action , Bangari said.
