The decision was taken by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at a meeting here to ensure transparent and responsive governance in the state, an official spokesman said.

Badal directed the Chief Secretary to immediately issue instructions asking all the employees to file their returns for the financial year 2011-12 by June 30.

The returns should be submitted by April 30 from next year onwards, he said.

Badal also asked for amending the existing proformas of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) to incorporate a new column on filing of property returns, he added. PTI SUN AVT
