Elaborate arrangements have been made for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) slated for December 28 in which more than 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear, an official said here today.
As many as 391 examination centres, and 36 nodal centres have been set up at district and sub-division level to facilitate the candidates, a state education department spokesman said.
"The department is committed to conduct this test in a transparent manner and adequate number of flying squads has also been constituted," he said.
Besides, the Deputy Commissioners have also been asked to monitor this exercise, he said, adding videography will be done at each centre.
The timings for the first and second tests would be from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM respectively.
Differently-abled candidates would get an additional 20 minutes for each paper, the spokesman added.
