Pvt company manager in Jamshedpur commits suicide

An employee of an electronic goods company here committed suicide at his Khasmahal home under the Parsudih police station, police said today.
28-year-old Satvir Singh, area manager of LG company, was found hanging in his room, OC of Parsudih police station, Dayanand Kumar said, adding that the reason behind the extreme step could not be ascertained as there was no suicide note.
In another incident yesterday, a 16-year-old student, Shivangi Kumari ended her life in a similar manner, a day after her school final result was published in Saraswati Nagar under Govindpur police station, police said.
Shivangi, a student of a reputed English medium school here, though had secured good percentage, but it was below her expectations, which, police suspected had led her to take the extreme step.
