Oscar-winner Quentin Tarantino has announced that he will retire from filmmaking after his two last films.
Speaking at the Adobe Max conference in San Diego, the writer-director of hit films like "Pulp Fiction", "Reservoir Dogs", and "Django Unchained" reiterated that he intends to make only two more feature films, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Adding to that, he said, "Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, 'Match that'."
The 53-year-old director told the crowd that he is focusing on a historical non-fiction project at the moment.
For four years, Tarantino has been been engaged in studying the year 1970, one he considers the most pivotal in the history of cinema.
"It could be a book, a documentary, a five-part podcast," he said.
Meanwhile, Tarantino also shared what success means to him.
"Hopefully, the way I define success is when I'm finished with the career, I'm considered one of the greatest filmmakers who ever lived.
"That would be successful. And then to go further than that, I would be considered a great artist and not just a film director," he said.
