Ghufran Azam, a member of the 7th Lok Sabha from Betul in Madhya Pradesh, said he had written a letter about this to party chief Sonia Gandhi on July 11.
"In it, I had urged her to give up her love for her son Rahul who despite having spent 10 years in politics, had not learnt how to give a speech nor developed any political thinking," he told reporters here.
His views on Rahul come in the backdrop of Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh recently saying that the Congress Vice President does not have the temperament of a ruler.
"By temperament, woh sattadhaari vyakti nahin hain. By temperament, woh aisa vyakti hai jo anyay ke khilaph ladna chaahta hai (He is not a ruler by temperament. By temperament he is a person, who wants to fight injustice," Singh had said in an interview to a local news channel of Goa.
