Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi would be on a day-long visit to his parliamentary constituency on October 18 where he would attend funeral of a former party MLA.
Rahul's representative Chandra Kant Dubey said that during his visit the Congress leader would only attend the last ritual of former party MLA from Jagdispur Ram Sewak Dhobi.
Dubey said that Rahul would meet the family members of the former MLA at their Musafirkhana residence before leaving for Delhi.
Senior Congress leader and a nine-time MLA from Jagdishpur, 94-year-old Ram died at his ancestral home after a prolonged illness on October 6. He was considered to be close to Gandhi family.
At present, Ram's grandson Radheyshyam is sitting MLA from the same seat.
