Raids at sitting CM's home blot on political history of state:

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today criticised searches at his residences by CBI, saying the "raids at the residence of a sitting Chief Minister is a blot on political history of the state".
"Raids at the residence of a sitting Chief Minister is a blot on the political history of the state. I need not worry about any raid or enquiry as my income tax returns were with Income Tax tribunal and in the Delhi High Court," he said at the annual function of Sarv Kalyankari Sanstha, a Hamirpur- based NGO.
Singh said the Supreme Court gave him a clean chit in CD case and it exposed the intention of BJP leaders.

Referring to Himachal Pradesh Cricket association, the Chief Minister said he was not against HPCA, but it should get registered under the co-operative Act and function democratically with voting rights to members who should be from the state.
He said the "dirty blame game started by Dhumals is not in the larger interests of the state and the welfare of people".
Ruing that the standard of politics was at its lowest ebb, Singh said that not maintaining decorum in assemblies and indulging in slogan shouting was a new practice being followed by opposition.
